Through the eyes of an autistic child

As my parents look at me with the emotion of love , do they understand that I too look at them with the same purity of emotion? They gave birth to me so that I would spread sunshine in the world, and so I smile and smile and smile always!

And when my schoolmates spill water on me from their water bottles, I see a river in that water. Yes a river connecting me and them so simply. I know only love and no hatred, and so I smile and smile and smile always!

Do you know I fell from that slide in the garden yesterday. I saw something red on my knees, just wiped it and went to play again. I saw my mother as I was back on to the slide..It felt as if she absorbed something I had felt moments before. I'm thankful for her existence, and so I smile and smile and smile always!

My saliva keeps on coming on my chin and then falls on my t-shirt.I cannot control it, but my therapist taught me to wipe it. Thus I always keep the handkerchief in my pocket, something I follow sincerely which is in my control. I thus celebrate what I can control, and so I smile and smile and smile always!

Now you must all be thinking that do I really feel and think such things? To clear your doubts you will have to come near me, sit beside me and observe my smile carefully. Your doubts will clear and you will see a different universe when you won't be able to stop smiling either, and so I smile and smile and smile always!
