Kaal coloured my body
Bleeding and ignited I took her name
I fell on her feet, Kalicharan(kali-feet) I became

Hit by thunders of realisations
Detached from worldly desires
Kalicharan is no more blind

A mystical light pierces the heart
Her vision it is in reality
Atoms dance for they found themselves


2.DURGA OF BIRTH

Waterfalls of your depth pour in my chest
The warmth of the womb embraces
Sheetla ie about to give birth to Sheetlaputra

Sheetlaputra searches for her fragrance
The dirty world challenges him
But he finds her breath in his own breath

Sheetla touches like strings of stars
Smooth soft scintillating his body
Sheetlaputra in reality is still within her


3.DURGA OF GROWTH

Vaishno's peak touched the bird
Ah! It converted into a ray of light
Vaishnorekha bloomed in the cosmos

Consumes all the darkness it knows
The ray from the peak imbibes its purpose
Vaishnorekha further becomes more tall

& This mountain stands erect
Unshakeable the spirits within and above
Colors Vaishnorekha with breaths of passion


4.DURGA OF INCESSANT WORK

His thirsty mother's name is Vidya
Looking for oceans of knowledge
Ah! Tempest rise in Vidyasagar

Ships of enlightenment sail
The scene of horizon smiles
Vidyasagar immerses the glory with fine drops

And he goes to meet Vidya everyday
For Vidyasagar is her son
Stars swallow the ocean!


5.DURGA OF STAYING GROUNDED

Sherawali bleeds but her grip on the sword still firm
Inspiration pours and destroys the lion's ego
Shera the lion runs towards her with love

Shera is blessed, inchanted, enthralled
As Sherawali's feet step on her
Feels her feet on back but sees them everywhere now

Shera runs and pierces the air
Unknowingly reaching the sky in trans
Ah! The sky and Sherawali are the same!


6.DURGA OF LOVE

Janani the tree looks intently at the leaves
Jananitaras the leaves dont want to depart
But they fall on the ground, tears in their eyes

They stare at her branches
They loved their mother's hands
& Now the divine wind blows

Jananitaras revolve around Janani
All rise as the flute plays decoration
Mother hugs her child


7.DURGA OF DIVINE CONNECT

Saraswati resides in the books
& Saraswatyanand would read them
Who knew they were already connected

A tired Saraswatyanand's forehead fell on a page
Ah! He entered the universe of Saraswati
Showered upon by flowers of knowledge

When he regains consciousness he sees her everywhere
Inspired, he learns from everyone & everything
All the manifestations of Mother Saraswati


8.DURGA THE ENDLESS OCEAN

Chamunda's idol was always alive
For Chamundadas decorated her everyday
Devotion & service was all he knew

One day as he put the garland on her
The idol got ignited & began to grow in size
Chamundadas watched with fire in eyes

She reached infinite height and heat
Chamundadas went a step closer to her feet
Ah! The endless ocean imbibed her!


9.DURGA OF ETERNITY

Mahishasurmardini's fierce wrath
Mahishasur's tears of realisations of sins
Cycles of self discovery

Had the sword not been struck right in his chest
Evil would not have been killed
But Mahishasurmardini is the all eternal on continuous birth

His tears join her rivers
Her rivers join her oceans of highest potential purity
Tears & smiles of understanding the self become eternal!
