DURGAYAN

1.Janm Dhaara

Durga is born everytime when her sons and daughters realise whose children they are, the all powerful Mother Durga.

Her birth has no origin, it was always there, is beautifully existing and will continue to bloom.
Though calling her amidst the chaos of the worldly things brings her to us in different lights which reflect in our actions like different colours of the rainbow the origin being one, Mother Durga.

When children realise the birth of their mother they themselves transform into Mother, offering unconditional love to the people in need, relieving the pain of the suffering and utilising all light of the originating source for the good.

DURGA IS BORN
LETS CELEBRATE DURGAS BIRTH
LETS CELEBRATE OUR TRUE BIRTH
JAI MA DURGA

2.Balika Dhaara

Little Durga has red skin, all that blood has coloured her small cute body. She is small but the blood all over her gives us the glimpses of the goddess in the making.

Where did this blood come from? Who did this to such a little child? She fell.... She fell a million times in thorns, rocks and the soil. She the master of her own journey, she the holy mother Durga, little Durga.

Her blood is pure, it bleeds self exploration and she is immersed into it right now, immersed into herself.

Oh do you see her innocent smile? Despite all those wounds she smiles in her playful mood. What a beauty and treat to a devotee's eyes, his mother as a child wrapped in blood still smiling.

LITTLE DURGA SMILES
HER VICTORIES TO BRING THE PURE FROM WITHIN SMILES
THE DEVOTEES INSPIRATIONAL POEM SMILES
LITTLE DURGA RUNS FEARLESSLY IN THE MEADOW
JAI MA DURGA

3.Yuvati Dhaara

Look at her beautiful body, all that blood of her childhood has been delicately carved into a red saree, the cloth covering her body. As sun shines it merges with her skin making golden ornaments and embedding into her neck, wrists , ears and legs. Mother Durgas young look is so divine!

Yuvati Durga makes a small boat. Collecting wood from the forest she thanks every tree for their contribution, every piece caste into making the boat smells gratitude, for Mother Durga is so humble, she knows it is all hers but she never forgets that she is all theirs too and respect must never be compromised.

The boat is made with all the skill of a young exuberant mind. There is something peculiar about this boat. The sides of the boat are carved out excessively and turned down, an engineering brilliance the use of which would be understood later. The front of the boat also has a lion's face carved out from the wood and within the mouth is an oil lamp.

Mother Durga enters the boat. A yuvati that is a 'young girl' free from all attachments, away from desires, in reality her goal is much beyond it. Yes she already is a mother, pristine. Her boat sets sail, she all alone with her bigger purpose.

YUVATI DURGA SHINES
THE RIVER WATER SHINES
THE DEVOTEE'S HEART SEEING HIS MOTHER'S DEDICATION SHINES
YUVATI DURGA IS A STAR FLOATING LIKE A LEAF IN THE RIVER

4. Matra Dhaara

Mother! Why do we call her mother? Who is a mother? Who is a mother? A mother is that ultimate energy that destroys all evil from the path of her children by showing them her enlightening light and proving them that evil is illusion, her light the real truth.

Ma Durga's boat is sailing smoothly in the river, but she is aware that nothing is permanent and situations change, the only thing which is permanent is her existence consciousness and bliss which no one can take from her.

Amidst these thoughts all of a sudden originates from the river a huge demon named Mahishasura, he is the size of an elephant. He smiles in his wicked ways looking at the boat and Durga, both appear so small in front of him.

Is mother Durga small in comparison to this demon Mahishasura who is just an epitome of malicious thought process? Mother Durga closes her eyes to contemplate and her third eye opens.  Ah! Her third eye! Her third eye can see what others can't, her third eye sees the truth, the strong purity of believing in one self.

See the waves of the river are turning violent now! They are increasing in size. Ah! The huge waves are rolling under the extended sides of the boat turned downward making the boat rise slowly. As every wave hits the boat and turns more huge the boat of Ma Durga rises above the water level further.

Durga is now at the level of the eyes of the huge Mahishasura. Mahishasura is shocked to see her at such a height, unaware of the strength of truth.

Gradually the flame of the lamp burning inside the mouth of the lion carved at the boat's front starts burning with a greater intensity. Mahishasura is still clueless, will Durga slay her? Will she point an arrow toward him?

Nothing of that sorts happen. Rather the whole boat is ignited and the flame of the lamp colours the boat and Ma Durga in its heat. Very slowly Ma Durga turns black and she transitions into her wrathful form 'KALI'. Kali the destroyer of evil.

Kali begins dancing in the boat to the tunes of Kali tandav, radiating her powers in every possible direction.

Mahishasura the demon can't hold back his tears and begins crying experiencing the subtle nature of the heat. Every tear of his transforms him into drops of water and steadily he merges with the river! YES THE SAME RIVER OF MA DURGA, THE SAME COSMOS OF MA DURGA! The waves calm down. Ma transforms back from Kali to Durga. The boat sails further.

MATR DURGA IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF OUR TRUE NATURE
LET US BRING HER OUT!
DURGA BELIEVES IN HERSELF,
THE FEARLESS HER, THAT IS WHY SHE IS DURGA
JAI MA DURGA

5.Amratva Dhaara

As the breeze touches goddess Durga's hair she thinks about her journey. Her birth, her childhood, her youth, her becoming a mother, her constant unshakeable unbroken soul.

Who is she? She thinks about herself, her purpose.  Her beautiful boat, the lions head, the lamp, the river all embrace her understanding her beauty but Durga herself still seeks infinity of purity.

Her journey can never end for she is eternal, for truth is eternal, for the quest to seek truth is eternal. Mother Durga's voice synchronises with the sound of the flowing river water and the birds chirping in the sky as she utters-
' I am the unseen truth which is eager to be seen, just call me o devotees!' .
The boat sails further.

MA DURGA IS NOT ONE PARTICULAR BEING
SHE IS A JOURNEY
SHE IS OUR JOURNEY
COME LET US LIVE THIS JOURNEY COLOURING IT WITH STRONG CHARACTER, WILL POWER AND PURITY
COLOURING IT WITH DURGA
REALISING DURGA
BEING DURGA
DURGA DURGA
DURGA!
